About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Gerente de Excelencia Operacional y Mejora Continua to lead transformative initiatives within their operations in Saltillo, Coahuila . This role is critical in driving efficiency, reducing waste, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all functional areas. The idóneo candidate will be an expert in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies, with a proven ability to implement sustainable process improvements. You will be instrumental in shaping a more agile, efficient, and cost-effective operational framework for our client.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of operational excellence programs, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction across the organization.
- Facilitate Kaizen events and workshops to drive sustainable change.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational efficiency and quality.
- Train and mentor employees on operational excellence principles and tools.
- Collaborate with department managers to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct process audits and value stream mapping to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Champion best practices and share knowledge across the organization.
- Ensure that implemented improvements align with strategic business objectives.





Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations, with at least 4 years focused on continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma.
- Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification in Six Sigma is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in leading successful operational improvement projects.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, value stream mapping, and other process improvement tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence change at all levels.
- Experience in driving cultural change and embedding new methodologies.
- Proficiency in relevant software and data analysis tools.
- Candidates based in or willing to work a hybrid model in Saltillo, Coahuila are encouraged to apply.
