· Over 8 years of software development experience

· Over 5 years of enterprise Java development experience

· Strong experience with Java 11+

· Experience with Java 17 or Java 21

· Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Framework

· Experience with RESTful services and APIs

· Knowledge of Dependency Injection

· Experience with data access layers and exception handling

· Experience with application security and automated testing

· Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns

Responsibilities (Activities to perform)

· Analyze existing Java applications and infrastructure dependencies

· Define modernization and migration strategies





· Design and develop Java services and REST APIs

· Implement cloud-native solutions using modern Java and Spring technologies

· Refactor and migrate applications to AWS

· Implement containerized, serverless, and event-driven architectures

· Develop microservices, asynchronous integrations, messaging and streaming solutions

· Manage scheduled and batch processing workloads

· Migrate configurations, secrets, certificates, database connections, file integrations

· Implement unit, integration, regression, performance, and deployment testing

· Support production cutover and post-migration stabilization activities

· Improve application performance, availability, and security

· Optimize logging, monitoring, and cloud cost efficiency

· Perform code reviews and architecture reviews

· Mentor development teams and promote engineering best practices

· Establish reusable migration patterns and development standards

· Ensure compliance with architecture standards, secure coding practices, change controls, and release governance
