Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead on-site execution for high-profile logistics automation projects in LATAM. You will take full ownership from equipment site arrival through installation, testing, commissioning, to final client acceptance (PAC/FAC). Serving as the key link between China HQ engineering teams, local subcontractors, and top-tier e-commerce clients, you will ensure seamless field execution, strict safety compliance, and high client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- On-Site Project Execution: Oversee site operations from equipment delivery through to final acceptance. Manage daily installation progress, track milestones, resolve site bottlenecks, and enforce quality control.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for client project managers. Proactively manage expectations, lead site alignment meetings, and maintain strong, collaborative relationships.
- Subcontractor & Crew Leadership: Direct local installation crews, mechanical, and electrical subcontractors. Audit all installation work against CAD layout drawings, mechanical assembly diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce local site safety standards, labor laws, and environmental regulations (e.g., NR-10 / NR-35 in Brazil; local OSHA/STPS compliance in Mexico)

- Cross-Border Coordination: Maintain daily communication with HQ project managers and technical design teams to report progress, address technical engineering changes, and align on project timelines.

Key Qualifications

- Professional Experience: 3+ years of hands-on field project management experience in material handling systems (MHS), parcel sortation, industrial automation, heavy machinery, or complex MEP integration projects (with extended on-site execution experience).
- Industry Background (Either):
- Vendor-side: Experience working with global or regional automation integrators/vendors (e.g., Dematic, Vanderlande, KNAPP, BEUMER, SSI Schaefer, Águia Sistemas, etc.).
- Client-side: Experience supervising site vendor installations for major e-commerce or logistics operators (e.g., Mercado Libre, DHL, Amazon, Shopee, FedEx).
- Technical Literacy: Proven ability to read and interpret CAD layout drawings, mechanical assembly schematics, and basic electrical diagrams.
- Safety Certifications: Deep understanding of local construction and site safety regulations (safety compliance for Mexico).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional crisis management and conflict resolution skills under high-pressure site conditions; hands-on leadership style in fast-paced construction/installation environments.

Language Skills:

- Native Spanish (for Mexico) .
- Professional working proficiency in English or Mandarin Chinese (required for technical alignment with global HQ teams).
