Role Description The AI Harness Engineer is a full-time remote role focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that integrates and orchestrates AI models and automation workflows across client environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing pipelines that connect data sources, AI services, and business applications, as well as developing harnesses to test, monitor, and validate AI performance and reliability. The role involves collaborating with product, engineering, and client-facing teams to understand requirements, translate them into scalable technical designs, and deliver solutions with measurable business impact.





The AI Harness Engineer also continuously improves tooling, documentation, and observability to ensure secure, resilient, and compliant AI systems in production.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong programming and automation skills (e.g., Python, scripting, API integration, CI/CD tools).
- Candidates should possess experience working with AI/ML ecosystems (e.g., model deployment, inference APIs, vector databases, and model evaluation frameworks).
- Candidates should possess knowledge of cloud and infrastructure technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, orchestration, and monitoring tools).
- Candidates should possess skills in data handling and system design (e.g., data pipelines, ETL, system architecture, performance optimization).
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to reliability, security, and scalability.
- Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
- Experience integrating AI into real-world business workflows, plus familiarity with automation platforms and enterprise software, is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
