- Have a strong understanding of SMT equipment and production processes, including:
• Screen Printers: DEK
• Solder Paste Inspection (SPI): Koh Young
• Pick-and-Place Machines: NPM
• Reflow Ovens: ERSA
• Automated Optical Inspection (AOI): ViTrox
• Be responsible for equipment operation and maintenance.
• Manage technical documentation and equipment-related records.
• Create, maintain, and optimize equipment programs.
• Adjust and optimize production line layouts (Layout).
• Perform equipment calibration and validation.
• Identify and drive production process improvement initiatives.
• Be familiar with relevant IPC quality standards for SMT products, including component placement, soldering, and reflow soldering processes.
• Perform equipment installation and commissioning.
• Provide technical support for New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Adjust equipment parameters and program libraries according to product requirements.
• Read and interpret electrical and utility schematics.
• Apply process control and continuous improvement tools.
• Analyze and improve KPIs, monitoring process indicators such as OEE, CP, and Yield.
• Manage spare parts inventory and submit equipment-related requisitions.
• Manage and train technical personnel and provide on-site SMT technical support.
