About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and empathetic Gestor de Siniestros to join their entirely remote team. This role is critical in managing the claims process for general insurance policies, ensuring fair and timely resolutions for policyholders. You will investigate claims, assess damages, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with policy terms and regulations. This fully remote position allows you to serve clients effectively from anywhere, providing crucial support during challenging times.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, review, and investigate insurance claims from policyholders.
Determine coverage eligibility based on policy terms and conditions.
Assess damages and liabilities through thorough investigation and documentation.
Negotiate settlements with claimants and third parties in a fair and timely manner.
Manage a caseload of claims efficiently, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
Communicate effectively with claimants, policyholders, and internal stakeholders throughout the claims process.
Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance laws and regulations.
Identify potential fraud and escal**ate** suspicious claims as per company protocol.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities and decisions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in claims adjusting or management within the general insurance sector.
Solid understanding of insurance policies, legal principles, and claims procedures.
Excellent investigation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy and professionalism.
Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
