About the Role
Our client, a major player in the real estate development and construction industry, is looking for a highly competent and results-driven Gerente de Construcción de Edificaciones to lead significant projects in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico . This role demands a strategic leader capable of managing all facets of building construction, from pre-construction planning through to project closeout. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong background in managing large-scale building projects, exceptional leadership qualities, and a deep understanding of financial management, risk assessment, and quality assurance within the construction context. Key Responsibilities

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple building construction projects in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico .

Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.

Create and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating all activities to meet deadlines.

Manage and lead project teams, including site staff, subcontractors, and consultants.

Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, permits, regulations, and safety standards.

Implement and enforce robust quality control measures throughout the construction process.

Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.

Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews to monitor performance and address challenges.

Approve project-related invoices and payments,



ensuring financial accuracy.

Prepare comprehensive project reports for senior management.

Oversee the procurement of materials and services, negotiating favorable terms.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 12 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior management role focused on building construction.

Demonstrated experience managing projects valued at over $50 million MXN.

In-depth knowledge of building construction methods, materials, and technologies.

Proven ability to manage complex project schedules and budgets effectively.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Excellent understanding of Mexican construction laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore).

Strong financial acumen and experience with contract management.

Excellent communication and presentation skills in Spanish.

Registered Professional Engineer or Architect designation is a plus.
