About the Role Our client, a significant player in the agricultural sector based in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí , is seeking an experienced Agricultural Supply Chain and Logistics Analyst. This role is crucial for optimizing the flow of goods from farm to market, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. The analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of agricultural logistics challenges. The opportunity to shape and enhance supply chain operations in a key agricultural region of Mexico is central to this role.
Key Responsibilities Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
Manage relationships with suppliers, transportation providers, and other logistics partners.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency and costs.
Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly to meet market needs.
Implement and utilize supply chain management software and tools.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in transportation and warehousing.




Identify and evaluate new technologies or methodologies to enhance supply chain performance.
Prepare regular reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis and logistics, preferably within the agricultural sector.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI software).
Experience with inventory management, demand forecasting, and transportation optimization.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution networks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating with both on-site and remote teams.
Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Understanding of the agricultural production cycle and its impact on the supply chain is beneficial.
