About the Role
Our client, a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Principal AI Engineer to join their innovative team in the vibrant city of Cancún, Quintana Roo. Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of cutting-edge AI systems and algorithms.

Develop and implement machine learning models for data analysis, prediction, and decision-making.

Oversee the full lifecycle of AI projects, from conceptualization and data acquisition to deployment and maintenance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate AI solutions into existing and new products.

Conduct research into new AI techniques and technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.

Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in AI development.

Evaluate and select appropriate tools and frameworks for AI development.

Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of deployed AI systems.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the AI field and apply them to practical problems.

Contribute to the company's intellectual property through patents and publications.

Requirements

Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.





Minimum of 8 years of experience in AI/ML development, with a proven track record of delivering complex AI projects.

Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

Proficiency with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.

Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI/ML workloads.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Must be eligible to work in Mexico and willing to work a hybrid schedule based in Cancún, Quintana Roo.
