Job Description
Tax Compliance

Collaborate in the preparation and timely submission of all tax filing obligations while adhering to regulatory requirements

Assist in addressing tax authority queries in a timely and efficient manner

Prepareand file all required Mexican tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other local taxes

Maintain accurate working papers and documentation in accordance with department policy and tax authority requirements

Manage the SAT portal, submit DIOT applications, obtain tax certificates, and draft or interpret tax opinions

Reporting and Analysis

Perform reconciliations of tax accounts, addressing discrepancies and providing accurate reports to stakeholders

Assist with tax pack preparation and submission

Prepare and ensure Internal Controls (RACM) are applied with evidential support stored as required

Compliance & Audit Support

Assist in tax audits and inquiries from Mexican tax authorities, including preparation of responses, documentation, and communication

Internal Collaboration

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and legal, to provide tax guidance and support





Build and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

Education & Professional Credentials

Recognized professional qualification in Tax and Accounting

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field

Experience

3 years of relevant tax compliance and accounting experience

Demonstrable success in improving tax and compliance service levels

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge and understanding of all tax and compliance processes including best practice

Advanced Excel skills

Experience managing the SAT portal, submitting DIOT applications, obtaining tax certificates

Experience preparing tax account reconciliations

Language Requirements

Advanced English level - able to participate to manage the language

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Oraclesystem

Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies

Professional Skills

Excellent communication skills at all levels

Strong problem-solving abilities within tight deadlines

Highly organized with attention to detail

Personal Attributes
