Other requirements Bachelor’s degree in packaging design or equivalent professional experience in automotive industry
5-7 years' experience in automotive packaging and/or Transportation Management with experience in project management
Understanding of packaging standards in automotive
Understanding of packaging design & packaging validation process
Business case management experience
Understanding of automotive supply chain processes,
Basics knowledge of 3 D design SW tools, e.g. Catia Collaboration and relationship building
Attention to details
Prioritization & sense of urgency
Self-driven attitude
Systems and process thinking
Communication and influencing skills
Entrepreneurial can-do attitude (Problem solving, continuous improvement)
Highly accountability & reliability, adaptability Fluent in Spanish and English. Familiar with North America (MX, US & Canada) cultures and ways of working

Mexico Missions Missions Lead packaging and flow optimization initiatives to reduce transport costs, enhance efficiency, and ensure seamless collaboration across suppliers, customers, and plant operations. Main deliverables Define and execute packaging and flow optimization projects with clear action plans
Build and present business cases for leadership approval
Deliver against performance ambitions & KPI improvement in on-time delivery, cost, CO2 and all other Performance indicators of the 360 degrees-performance dashboards Activities Analyze packaging flows to identify inefficiencies and non-value-added activities
Assess packaging performance & efficiency (damage rates, load density, stackability, foldability etc.)
Propose packaging flow & design improvements, considering material protection, handling, stackability and transport cost
Lead the implementation of flow and packaging optimization projects,
Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and engineers to prototype and validate solutions
Update SOPs and handling guidelines to reflect improvements
