About the Role
Our client, a prominent construction and development firm operating in Torreón, Coahuila , is seeking a meticulous and analytical Arquitecto/a Técnico/a de Mediciones y Presupuestos. This role is integral to ensuring the financial viability and accurate cost management of construction projects. You will be responsible for preparing detailed quantity take-offs, analyzing costs, and developing comprehensive budgets for a variety of projects. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing, combined with exceptional analytical skills. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
Analyze project requirements and research material and labor costs to develop accurate budgets.
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and bid proposals for construction projects.
Monitor project expenditures and report on budget variances.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure cost control.
Review and validate subcontractor bids and change order proposals.
Maintain a database of costs for materials, labor, and equipment.




Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and contractual requirements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost estimation, quantity surveying, or construction budgeting.
Proven experience in preparing detailed measurements and cost estimations for construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Presto, Opus, Auto CAD, Excel).
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
