Monitors actual performance against goals and oversees the procurement, inventory control, planning, and quality control of production materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Performs analysis of customer demand, sales forecasts and historical material usage to develop and execute build-to-order and build-to-forecast plans.

- Coordinate with cross-functional business teams to develop the best economic strategy for production planning to support customer demand.

- Coordinate and work with quality, engineering, and operations to ensure 100% on-time delivery by establishing and monitoring schedules to proactively identify and address issues.

- Develop, implement and manage a fully integrated planning process that incorporates make-versus-buy decisions, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, materials and associated cost elements.

- Determines the strategy to comply with STS demand requirements.

- Lead demand planning and forecasting activities to ensure alignment between customer requirements, inventory levels, and production capabilities.

- Monitor vigente performance against planning goals and implement corrective actions when needed to meet business objectives.

- Manage inventory levels, storage of purchased materials, and finished goods to support operational requirements while minimizing inventory costs.





- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, Kanban, and Supply Chain optimization tools to improve planning efficiency and material flow.

- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize end-to-end supply chain performance and ensure material availability.

- Analyze root causes of supply chain and planning issues, providing recommendations and implementing sustainable corrective actions.

- Support and mentor team members while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What your background should look like

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Production Planning, Materials Planning, Supply Chain, or related roles.

- Advanced English.

- APICS certification is a plus.

- Strong SAP / MRP knowledge.

- Project Management experience.

- Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning tools.

- Inventory Management experience.

- Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP).

- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and forecasting skills.

- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Kanban methodologies is highly preferred.

- Molding experience (plus).

- Experience managing supplier relationships and vendor performance is a plus.
