About the Role
VO PRS Benchmarking Specialist, we are seeking a VO PRS Benchmarking Specialist to join our engineering team. In this role, you will analyze competitive products, benchmark automotive components, manage Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, and perform deep quantitative and technical evaluations to drive product optimizations.
Responsibilities Benchmarking Analysis
Perform technical competitor benchmarking on vehicle systems, with a strong focus on propulsion and transmission components.
BOM Management
Analyze, structure, and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for benchmarking projects and technical teardowns.
Data & Financial Modeling
Utilize advanced Excel formulas and data analysis techniques to compile benchmarking data, perform cost comparisons, and track engineering metrics.
Engineering Evaluation
Assess mechanical and industrial designs to identify optimization opportunities and efficiency gains.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with engineering, product planning,
and control teams to deliver benchmark reports and technical recommendations. Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Advanced English Required Skills Data Skills
Proficiency with advanced Excel formulas (e.g., INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, nested logic, data pivot tables) and data visualization tools.
Technical Knowledge
Understanding of vehicle assembly, automotive teardowns, and BOM structure management. Preferred Skills Domain Experience
Hands-on engineering experience in propulsion systems and transmissions.
Benchmarking
Prior background in automotive competitor benchmarking, vehicle teardown analysis, or product reverse engineering.
Manufacturing Knowledge
