About the Role
Our client, a leader in technological innovation, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join their dynamic Research and Development team. This is a fully remote, remote-first position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Mexico. You will play a pivotal role in driving groundbreaking research, developing cutting-edge algorithms, and transforming complex data into actionable insights that will shape the future of our products and services. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to extract valuable insights from large datasets.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations relevant to research objectives.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to define research questions and translate business needs into data science solutions.
Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis.
Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence,



and apply them to improve existing models and develop new methodologies.
Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's technical growth and development. Requirements Master's or Ph. D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science or a related research role.
Proven expertise in Python or R, including relevant libraries such as Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, or Py Torch.
Strong understanding of various machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning) and their practical applications.
Experience with SQL and No SQL databases, as well as data warehousing concepts.
Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
