About the Role

Our client, a prominent construction company known for its large-scale projects, is seeking a diligent Ingeniero Civil Residente de Obra . Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and direct all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and subcontractors to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and building codes throughout the construction process.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and suppliers to resolve site-specific challenges.
- Maintain detailed daily logs, progress reports, and safety records.
- Oversee the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on site.

- Act as the primary point of contact for site-related matters.




- Perform administrative tasks related to project execution remotely when not required on site.
- Liaise with clients and local authorities as needed for site operations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in construction supervision and site management.
- Proven track record of successfully completing diverse construction projects (e.g., commercial buildings, industrial facilities, infrastructure).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality assurance principles.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and construction management platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively, with a remote setup for administrative tasks.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites as required.
- Registered Professional Engineer (Ingeniero Civil) is a strong asset.
