About the Role

Our client is expanding its reach and seeks a talented and self-motivated Especialista Remoto en Prensa y Medios de Comunicación to join their distributed team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing media relations, developing press materials, and securing positive coverage across various media outlets. You will play a vital role in enhancing our client's brand visibility and reputation by crafting compelling narratives and engaging with journalists and influencers. Key Responsibilities

- Proactively identify and pursue media opportunities to generate positive coverage.
- Draft and edit compelling press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with national and local media contacts.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing timely reports and insights.
- Develop and execute communication strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Assist in organizing virtual press events and interviews.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing and content creators.




- Support the development and implementation of crisis communication plans.
- Manage media databases and track communication efforts.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications.
- Proven ability to secure media coverage and build strong media relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects remotely.
- Proficiency with communication tools and technologies suitable for remote work (e.g., video conferencing, project management software).
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with digital media trends and social media platforms.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to challenges.
