About the Role Our client, a premier property management group overseeing several large residential complexes in Zapopan, Jalisco , is seeking a proactive and experienced Manager of Cleaning and Pest Control. This leadership role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive cleaning and pest management programs to ensure a safe, sanitary, and appealing living environment for all residents. The Manager will lead a team of cleaning and maintenance staff, manage vendor relationships for specialized services, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. A strong understanding of sanitation best practices, pest identification and eradication, and budget management is crucial. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of property upkeep in Zapopan, Jalisco .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement detailed cleaning schedules and protocols for common areas, amenities, and exterior spaces of residential complexes.
- Oversee and manage the performance of the cleaning and maintenance staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Establish and manage a comprehensive pest control program, including regular inspections, prevention strategies, and effective treatment methods, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Manage vendor contracts and relationships for specialized cleaning services, pest control, and supply procurement, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess cleanliness, identify maintenance needs, and ensure adherence to safety and sanitation standards.




- Develop and manage the departmental budget, controlling expenses for supplies, labor, and services.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Respond promptly to resident concerns or complaints related to cleanliness and pest issues.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, pest control treatments, staff performance, and budget expenditures.

Requirements

- Proven experience in a management or supervisory role overseeing cleaning and/or pest control operations, preferably in property management or hospitality.
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and integrated pest management (IPM) strategies.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to residential properties.
- Experience in staff management, training, and scheduling.
- Strong organizational, budgeting, and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
- Proficiency in using property management software and standard office applications.
- High school diploma required; certification in professional cleaning or pest control is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in Zapopan, Jalisco , with a versátil schedule as needed.
