Sr. Project Sales Engineer

Focus: Painting & Coating Technology Projects

Location: Bajío Leon, Gto, Mexico / Hybrid (Near-Open to relocation)

Salary Range: +$00,000 MXN base monthly + Uncapped project-based commission.

Mandatory Requirements

- Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or similar fields)
- Proven experience with high-tech equipment for automotive painting and coating lines.
- Experience in project sales “specifically focused on painting and coating technology integration”
- An active and stable client portfolio capable of supporting ongoing project sales
- Ability to develop a real and tangible value proposition for project sales

About the Company

We are a leading engineering integration and installation company, specializing in high-tech industrial coating and painting systems. Our primary objective is to provide solutions to the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the automotive sector, as well as to their Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, in the field of high-technology industrial coating and painting systems.

Key Requirements

- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in technical sales of engineering projects in paint lines, coating application systems, and industrial automation within the automotive sector.
- In-depth understanding of industrial painting, coating processes, and automated equipment in automotive manufacturing plants.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and draft technical and commercial proposals.
- Key Competencies: Advanced negotiation, business acumen, executive prospecting, and a goal-driven mindset.
- Industry Network: Active network of contacts including Plant Managers, Engineering Directors, Maintenance Managers,



and Procurement Leads in the automotive industry.

Primary Responsibilities

- Identify and prospect new business opportunities for painting technology and coating system projects in automotive assembly plants.
- Develop tailored technical-commercial proposals based on client requirements and site specs.
- Manage the complete sales cycle (prospecting, technical surveys, negotiation, closing, and post-sale account management).
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets under a performance-tracked environment.

Onboarding & Entry Condition (Validation Phase)

We are looking for a candidate with an immediate commercial impact. To confirm full onboarding and permanent placement, the candidate must fulfill at least one of the following criteria during an initial evaluation period:

- Secure the closing of at least one major installation/integration project.
- Present and validate an active sales pipeline with verified, qualified prospects in advanced stages of negotiation with short-term closing potential.

This role is continually monitored and evaluated based on KPI achievements, pipeline metrics, and closed project revenue.

Compensation & Performance Structure

- Base Salary: Above $00,000 MXN / month
- Uncapped project-based commission ((Highly competitive commission structure per closed project))
- Executive tools and travel expenses covered
- All benefits stipulated by law
