About the Role

Our client, a prominent developer and construction firm specializing in industrial and logistics infrastructure, is seeking a highly competent Arquitecto de Edificios Industriales y Logísticos to join their team in Mexicali, Baja California . This role involves the design and management of state-of-the‑art industrial facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing plants. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong understanding of industrial building typologies, structural systems, material handling, and operational efficiency requirements specific to this sector. This is a critical role in developing the infrastructure that drives modern commerce and industry in the region.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architectural design process for industrial and logistics buildings, from conceptualization to detailed construction documents.
- Develop efficient and functional layouts that optimize space utilization, material flow, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with structural engineers, MEP engineers, and logistics consultants to ensure integrated and high‑performance designs.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards for industrial facilities.

Requirements

- Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering with a specialization in industrial design.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in architectural design, with a significant focus on industrial, manufacturing, or logistics facilities.
- Proven track record of designing and managing complex industrial construction projects.
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Strong understanding of structural systems, building materials, and construction methods relevant to industrial facilities.
- Knowledge of operational requirements for warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing plants.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working with diverse project teams.
