About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding consumer goods company, is seeking a highly effective Media and Key Audiences Relations Specialist to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal in managing and nurturing the company's relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other critical stakeholders. You will be instrumental in crafting compelling narratives, securing positive media coverage, and ensuring our client's message resonates with target audiences across various platforms. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategic media relations plans to secure positive coverage.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key journalists, bloggers, influencers, and industry analysts.
- Craft and disseminate press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and reporting to the team.
- Respond to media inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist in managing the company's social media presence and online reputation.
- Organize and coordinate media events, press conferences, and interviews.
- Develop targeted communication strategies for various key audiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of messaging and communication efforts.




- Act as a company spokesperson when required, following established guidelines.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in media relations, public relations, or corporate communications, with a proven track record of securing media placements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts and influencers.
- Experience in creating engaging content and compelling story pitches.
- Proficiency in using media monitoring tools and social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of the current media landscape and emerging communication trends.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively independently in a remote setting.
- High level of professionalism and discretion.
