Your Mission
As the company's commercial & technical representative in Mexico, you will be responsible for developing relationships with automotive customers, mainly Tier1 and Tier2, identifying and converting new opportunities, and supporting the transition towards a stronger direct market presence.
You’ll work closely with international commercial teams, leveraging existing relationships with European OEMs and Tier suppliers that already know and trust the company elsewhere in the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business growth for Mexico.
- Drive new business development within the automotive sector.
- Build and strengthen relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers serving major OEMs.
- Manage direct customer accounts and support the expansion of distributor business.
- Identify new projects for PA6, PA6.6 and PBT engineering compounds.
- Work closely with European Key Account Managers and North American colleagues to transfer and develop business opportunities.
- Monitor market developments, competitors, and industry trends within engineering plastics and automotive materials.
What we're looking for
- Solid experience in engineering plastics, polyamides, compounds, or related technical materials.
- Proven commercial success within the Mexican automotive industry, dealing with OEMs and Tiers. Existing network with Tier 1 suppliers, OEMs, and automotive decision-makers.
- Experience working with European automotive manufacturers and suppliers is highly desirable.
- Strong business development and account management skills.
- Ability to manage technically driven sales discussions with engineering and purchasing teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Mexico and occasionally internationally.
