About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Global Compensation Director to lead the development and execution of total rewards strategies across their international operations, including their office in Mexicali, Baja California . This executive-level position, operating on a hybrid model, will oversee all aspects of compensation, including base pay, variable pay, executive compensation, and benefits programs. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our client's compensation practices are competitive, equitable, legally compliant, and aligned with the company's strategic goals and talent management objectives. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of integral compensation principles, excellent analytical skills, and strong leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive global compensation strategy that supports business objectives and attracts/retains top talent.
- Develop and maintain salary structures, job grading systems, and pay equity analyses for all regions.
- Oversee the design and administration of incentive compensation plans, including annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and sales compensation.
- Lead the executive compensation review process, including recommendations for CEO and senior leadership compensation packages.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant global compensation and benefits regulations, including tax laws and statutory requirements.
- Partner with regional HR leaders to understand local market compensation practices and ensure program alignment and competitiveness.
- Manage relationships with external compensation consultants and benefits brokers.




- Analyze market data to provide insights and recommendations on compensation trends and best practices.
- Develop communication strategies to effectively convey the value of the total rewards program to employees and stakeholders.
- Oversee the annual compensation review cycle, including merit increases, promotions, and incentive payouts.

Requirements

- Extensive experience in global compensation and total rewards, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing complex strategies.
- Deep understanding of compensation methodologies, executive compensation, sales incentives, and benefits design.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different cultures and functions.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of global compensation regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working in a multinational organization with a hybrid work model.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CCP) is highly desirable.
