This pivotal role involves managing and representing clients in complex civil litigation matters. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive legal strategies for civil litigation cases.
- Conduct thorough case investigations, including evidence gathering and witness interviews.
- Draft and file all necessary legal pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Negotiate settlements and advise clients on potential litigation risks and outcomes.
- Manage case calendars, deadlines, and dockets effectively.




- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Provide clear and timely legal advice to clients throughout the litigation process.
- Stay current with all applicable laws, regulations, and court rules relevant to civil litigation in Sonora .

Requirements

- Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho) from an accredited institution.
- At least 7 years of dedicated experience in civil litigation.
- Demonstrated success in handling a variety of civil disputes, including contract disputes, torts, and property issues.
- In-depth knowledge of Mexican civil law and civil procedure.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Strong oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent client management and communication skills.
- Admitted to practice law in Mexico and a member in good standing of the relevant Bar Association.
