About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join their IT infrastructure team in Mexicali, Baja California . This critical role involves designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based solutions. You will work with the latest cloud technologies to support the company's digital transformation initiatives and ensure optimal performance of our cloud environments. This is an on-site position, fostering direct collaboration and innovation within the team in Mexicali . The adecuado candidate possesses deep expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure management, and a strong understanding of enterprise IT needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop strategies for cloud migration, implementation, and ongoing management.
- Define and enforce cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of applications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud technologies and services.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation and diagrams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.




- Stay current with cloud computing trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud solutions.
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- In-depth knowledge of cloud networking, security, storage, and compute services.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, suitable for an on-site role in Mexicali, Baja California .
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and influence stakeholders.
