About the Role

Our client, an innovative architecture and engineering consultancy, is looking for a dedicated Arquitecto/a Especialista en Eficiencia Energética to join their growing team. This role, offered on a fully remote basis, focuses on optimizing building performance through advanced energy-efficient design strategies. You will be instrumental in analyzing energy consumption, recommending sustainable solutions, and implementing technologies that reduce environmental impact and operational costs for clients. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong technical background in energy modeling, building science, and sustainable design principles. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct energy audits and performance analysis for existing and new buildings.
- Develop and implement energy-efficient design strategies and solutions.
- Utilize energy modeling software to simulate building performance and optimize energy use.
- Recommend sustainable materials, HVAC systems, and renewable energy integration.
- Advise clients and design teams on energy efficiency best practices and regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals related to energy efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in energy-efficient technologies and building science.




- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and building owners to achieve energy performance goals.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on energy.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy modeling, building performance analysis, or sustainable design.
- In-depth knowledge of energy simulation software (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQUEST, IESVE).
- Proven experience in developing and implementing energy-efficient design solutions.
- Understanding of building science, thermodynamics, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, particularly in a remote setting.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CEM, LEED AP) are a plus.
- Comfortable working independently and managing tasks effectively in a remote work environment.
