About the Role

Our client, a pioneering organization in the digital art space, is seeking a highly motivated and creative Curador de Arte Digital to join their dynamic team. As a fully remote position, you will collaborate with artists, institutions, and fellow art professionals from around the globe, leveraging cutting-edge technology to present exhibitions and manage digital collections. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of contemporary art, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and a passion for making art accessible to a wider audience through digital platforms. You will be instrumental in developing innovative online exhibition strategies and maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our client's digital assets, fostering a more inclusive and engaging art world.

Key Responsibilities

- Conceptualize and develop engaging online exhibitions and digital art installations.
- Manage and catalog a diverse collection of digital artworks, ensuring accurate metadata and preservation.
- Collaborate with artists and graphic designers to create compelling visual content for virtual exhibitions.
- Research and stay abreast of emerging trends in digital art, virtual reality, and online exhibition platforms.
- Write descriptive texts, artist biographies, and critical analyses for online displays.
- Engage with online communities and develop strategies to increase audience participation and reach.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to digital platforms and virtual environments.




- Coordinate with marketing teams to promote online exhibitions and events.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Art History, Curatorial Studies, Digital Media Arts, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in art curation, digital art management, or exhibition coordination, preferably with a focus on online platforms.
- Proven ability to conceptualize and execute digital exhibitions.
- Strong knowledge of art history, contemporary art movements, and digital art practices.
- Familiarity with digital asset management systems (DAMS) and virtual exhibition software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Proficiency in digital content creation tools and basic understanding of web technologies.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for digital innovation in the arts and a commitment to art accessibility.
