About the Role

Our client, a leading provider of data center solutions in Culiacán, Sinaloa, MX , is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Operations Manager for Cleaning Services. This senior role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of cleaning and environmental maintenance within critical data center facilities, ensuring optimal operational uptime and equipment integrity. The Manager will lead a team of cleaning professionals, develop and enforce rigorous protocols to prevent dust contamination and maintain a controlled environment, and manage vendor relationships. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong understanding of cleanroom environments, electrostatic discharge (ESD) prevention, and the unique challenges of maintaining data centers. This is a pivotal leadership position for an individual committed to operational excellence in a high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive cleaning programs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) specifically for data center environments.
- Manage and lead a team of cleaning technicians, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure strict adherence to protocols for dust control, preventing contamination of sensitive IT equipment.
- Oversee the use of specialized cleaning equipment and approved cleaning agents to maintain a safe and clean environment, including ESD-safe practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are met and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage relationships with external cleaning vendors and service providers, ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Develop and manage the operational budget for cleaning services, including supplies, equipment, and labor costs.




- Implement and monitor environmental controls related to cleanliness, such as air quality and temperature, in coordination with facilities management.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to data center operations.
- Prepare regular reports on cleaning performance, incident management, and budget status for senior management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in facilities or operations management, with a significant focus on cleaning and maintenance in critical environments like data centers, cleanrooms, or pharmaceutical facilities.
- Proven experience in managing cleaning teams and developing/implementing cleaning protocols for high-tech environments.
- Thorough understanding of dust control, ESD prevention, and environmental control measures for data centers.
- Experience with budget management and vendor relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to urgent operational needs.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Certification in relevant facilities management or cleaning industry standards is a plus.
