At BOGE Rubber & Plastics México, an automotive company specialising in rubber and plastic components, we are looking for a Process Engineer for the Vulcanisation department, who will be responsible for optimising manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality and improving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities
To develop, implement and optimise rubber vulcanisation processes to ensure production quality and efficiency. To define, adjust and validate process parameters, including temperature, pressure and vulcanisation time. Analyse and resolve issues relating to process defects, scrap, dimensional variations and product quality. Implement continuous improvement tools to increase productivity and reduce manufacturing costs. Participate in new product launches, process trials and production validations. Develop and update work instructions, process parameters, set-up sheets and technical documentation. Coordinate activities with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Tooling to ensure process stability.



Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies, such as 8D, 5 Whys and process FMEA. Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards, as well as the requirements of the automotive industry. Required profile Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline. Experience in process engineering within the automotive or manufacturing industry. Experience in rubber vulcanisation processes, preferably in compression, transfer or injection moulding. Knowledge of process parameters, fault analysis and manufacturing problem-solving. Knowledge of quality tools and continuous improvement: FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, 8D and root cause analysis. Ability to analyse data, document processes and work with multidisciplinary teams. Technical English desirable.
