About the Role

Our client, a leader in technological innovation, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join their dynamic Research and Development team. This is a fully remote, remote-first position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Mexico. You will play a pivotal role in driving groundbreaking research, developing cutting-edge algorithms, and transforming complex data into actionable insights that will shape the future of our products and services. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to extract valuable insights from large datasets.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations relevant to research objectives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to define research questions and translate business needs into data science solutions.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis.
- Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence,



and apply them to improve existing models and develop new methodologies.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's technical growth and development.

Requirements

- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science or a related research role.
- Proven expertise in Python or R, including relevant libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Strong understanding of various machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning) and their practical applications.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Must be eligible to work remotely in Mexico.
