Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, patient counseling, and collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs) and other robotic systems.
- Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of medication dispensing through automated systems.
- Manage inventory within automated dispensing units, ensuring appropriate stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Troubleshoot issues related to automated dispensing technology and coordinate with IT and vendor support as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute pharmaceutical expertise to patient care plans.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to automated dispensing and clinical pharmacy services.
- Educate pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals on the use and benefits of automated dispensing systems.
- Stay updated on advancements in pharmacy automation and clinical pharmacy practice.
Requirements
- Licensed Pharmacist in Mexico with active registration.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital pharmacy or clinical pharmacy settings.
- Proven experience with automated dispensing systems (e.g., Pyxis, Omnicell) and pharmacy information systems.
- Strong understanding of clinical pharmacy principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills related to technology and clinical workflows.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing on-site duties with potential remote oversight responsibilities.
