About the Role

WhatJobs Direct is seeking a sharp and analytical Analista de Datos Deportivos y Tendencias de Ocio to join our growing team. In this role, you will delve into complex datasets to uncover insights that will shape strategies within the Ocio y Deportes sector. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data related to sports participation, consumer behavior, and market trends. Key Responsibilities

- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets related to sports events, user engagement, and market trends.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within data to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and strategy teams to support data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis within the Ocio y Deportes space.
- Utilize statistical techniques and data modeling to forecast future trends.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.




- Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the analysis process.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on sports, entertainment, or leisure industries.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with the Ocio y Deportes landscape in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, MX and surrounding regions is a plus.
