Our client is looking for a meticulous and proactive Coordinador de Cumplimiento Logístico to join their team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all logistics operations adhere to relevant national and international regulations, standards, and company policies. This role is critical for mitigating risks, maintaining compliance, and ensuring the smooth, legal, and ethical operation of our client's supply chain. The adecuado candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics regulations and a keen eye for detail, enabling them to navigate complex compliance requirements effectively from their remote workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret changes in customs regulations, trade laws, and transportation policies.
- Ensure all shipments comply with import/export documentation requirements.
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for logistics staff.
- Conduct regular audits of logistics processes and documentation to identify potential compliance gaps.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies on compliance matters.
- Maintain accurate records of all compliance-related activities and documentation.
- Investigate and report on any compliance breaches or incidents.
- Assist in the development and updating of company policies and procedures related to logistics compliance.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in international trade compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on compliance-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Law, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics compliance, international trade, or customs brokerage.
- In-depth knowledge of Mexican customs regulations, trade agreements, and transportation laws.
- Experience with import/export documentation and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and relevant software for tracking and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving compliance issues.
- Familiarity with supply chain security initiatives is a plus.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico and have a stable internet connection for remote work.
