Job Summary Summary: To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Equipment Maintenance Engineer located in Guadalajara North. Reporting to the Sr. Equipment Maintenance Engineer the Equipment Maintenance Engineer’s role involves: Mechanical: Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyor systems and production machines and equipm. What a typical day looks like:
• Through troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism.
• Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.
• Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.
• Performs calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules.
• Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.
• Researches and implements corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms.
• Records times and problems in equipment logs.
• Provides daily equipment functioning activity information.
• Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate and calibrate other instruments and test equipment.
• Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.
• Aligns repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry. The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
• Typically requires an associate degree in related field,



military technical training or equivalent education and training.
• Allocating work to a team of fitters.
• Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate.
• Fitting new parts.
• Experience with SMT equipment such as ASMPT/P&P;, Reflow Ovens, Screen Printers, AOI, SPI, Glue Dispensers, and Press-Fit systems.
• Hands-on experience performing preventive maintenance on electronic manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of SMT processes and electronics manufacturing environments.
• Carrying out quality inspections.
• Acknowledging immediately to equipment breakdowns.
• Fixing faults on site or arranging for replacement machinery or equipment to be installed.
• Keeping production managers informed of progress.
• Organizing teams or unipersonal to make sure that 24-hour cover is available.
• Working on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computerized systems. What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:
