Job Description
About the Team The Manufacturing Engineering team in Toluca supports efficient, reliable, and continuously improving production operations. Working closely with Production, Plant Manufacturing Engineering, Divisional Manufacturing Engineering, and technical experts, the team ensures that equipment, capacity, processes, and investments meet current and future production needs. As Production Unit ME Leader, you will coordinate the Production Unit Manufacturing Engineering team and play a key role in new launches, process optimization, and technology implementation. What you can look forward to as Production Unit Manufacturing Engineer Leader:
• Coordinate and guide Production Unit Manufacturing Engineers while ensuring alignment with plant and divisional Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ensure installed capacity supports planned production volumes while driving optimized equipment utilization.
• Lead capacity, floor space, investment, CAPEX, and budget planning and forecasting for the Production Unit.
• Coordinate equipment purchasing and support planning for the future production portfolio.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of production processes, including detailed planning of work content.
• Lead and participate in PFMEA and R-PFMEA evaluations, ensuring resulting actions support process improvement.
• Support footprint analyses, customer quotation projects, and training and qualification planning for new production lines.




• Lead new production launches and contribute to successful implementation from planning through series production.

Your Profile
as Production Unit Manufacturing Engineer Leader:
• Academic degree in a technical field or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and relevant products, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PFMEA, process engineering, continuous improvement, and manufacturing capacity planning.
• Project management capabilities, including the ability to coordinate projects, present technical topics, and build effective teams.
• Working knowledge of the GDPEP process.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
