About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Farmacéutico Gerente de Operaciones de Farmacia Hospitalaria to lead their pharmacy department in Naucalpan, State of Mexico . Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all daily operations of the hospital pharmacy department, including inpatient, outpatient, and satellite pharmacies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor departmental policies, procedures, and goals to ensure alignment with hospital objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Manage pharmacy budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Lead and mentor the pharmacy team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards (e.g., COFEPRIS).
- Optimize medication use processes, including procurement, inventory management, dispensing, and administration, to enhance safety and efficiency.
- Evaluate, implement, and manage pharmacy technology,



such as automation and electronic health record integration.
- Collaborate with hospital administration, medical staff, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and performance monitoring within the pharmacy department.

Requirements

- Licensed Pharmacist in Mexico with active registration and a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in hospital pharmacy.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role overseeing pharmacy operations.
- Advanced degree (Master's in Pharmacy Administration, MBA, or Pharm.D.) is highly preferred.
- Proven expertise in financial management, budgeting, and resource optimization.
- Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy practice, including sterile compounding, drug distribution systems, and clinical pharmacy services.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with pharmacy automation, information systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
