About the Role

A rapidly growing technology consulting firm is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join their fully remote team. This role is instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing robust and scalable cloud-based solutions for a diverse clientele. We are looking for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures on platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Lead the assessment and selection of appropriate cloud services and technologies to meet business requirements.
- Develop architectural blueprints, technical strategies, and migration plans.
- Collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and clients to define solution requirements and ensure successful implementation.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, security, and cost optimization.
- Architect and oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.




- Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential application.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and solutions design.
- Proven experience architecting solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security principles, and data management in the cloud.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead projects in a fully remote environment.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
