About the Role

Our client, a critical support organization for survivors of domestic violence, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Coordinador de Atención a Víctimas de Violencia Doméstica. This hybrid role, based in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, MX , is essential for coordinating comprehensive services and support for individuals and families affected by intimate partner violence. You will lead a team dedicated to providing a safe haven, counseling, legal advocacy, and resource navigation for survivors. The adecuado candidate possesses a strong understanding of trauma-informed care, domestic violence dynamics, and the social/legal systems impacting survivors. Your role will involve both direct client support coordination and strategic development to enhance service delivery. You will work to empower survivors, promote their safety and healing, and advocate for systemic change to address domestic violence within the community. This position requires dedication, resilience, and a deep commitment to justice and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the victim support program.
- Coordinate client services, including crisis intervention, safety planning, counseling referrals, and legal advocacy.
- Supervise and provide training and support to case managers and support staff.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, law enforcement, and legal aid services.
- Manage program data, track client outcomes, and prepare reports for funding and organizational purposes.
- Ensure program services are trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and meet client needs effectively.




- Participate in community outreach and awareness campaigns regarding domestic violence.
- Assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts to sustain program operations.
- Advocate for policy changes that protect and support survivors of domestic violence.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence or related trauma.
- At least 2 years of experience in program coordination or supervision.
- Thorough understanding of domestic violence issues, legal protections, and support services.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and crisis intervention skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote administrative tasks with on-site client interaction and community engagement.
- Proficiency in Spanish; knowledge of English is beneficial.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
