About the Role

Our client, a key player in the aviation manufacturing and MRO sector, is seeking a skilled Especialista en Estructuras de Aeronaves to join their dedicated team in Torreón, Coahuila . This role is responsible for the inspection, repair, and modification of aircraft structural components. The idóneo candidate will possess a deep understanding of metallic and composite structures, fabrication techniques, and structural repair manuals. This hybrid position allows for focused on-site work for hands‑on tasks and remote flexibility for planning, reporting, and analysis, promoting efficiency and a modern work‑life balance. You will contribute to maintaining the airworthiness and structural integrity of aircraft operated by premier clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed inspections of aircraft airframes and structural components to identify damage, corrosion, or fatigue.
- Perform repairs and modifications to metallic and composite structures in accordance with approved repair schemes and structural repair manuals.
- Fabricate, fit, and install structural components using precision tools and equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, stress analysis reports, and repair specifications.
- Perform non‑destructive testing (NDT) as required, or collaborate with NDT technicians.
- Document all structural repairs, modifications, and inspections accurately in maintenance logs and reports.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations, manufacturer's specifications, and company quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop repair solutions and process improvements.




- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety procedures and regulations.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on structural repair techniques and best practices.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in aircraft structures or a related field is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft structural repair and maintenance.
- Proven experience working with both metallic (aluminum, steel) and composite (carbon fiber, fiberglass) aircraft structures.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and structural repair manuals.
- Proficiency with relevant tools and equipment for metal and composite fabrication and repair.
- Understanding of aviation regulations and airworthiness directives related to structures.
- Excellent diagnostic, problem‑solving, and manual dexterity skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Effective communication skills in Spanish.
- Flexibility to work required hours, including occasional overtime, and adapt to a hybrid work schedule.
