About the Role

Our client, a prominent aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider, is looking for a skilled Técnico de Mantenimiento de Aerotrénes to join their operations in Naucalpan, State of Mexico . This position focuses on the servicing, inspection, and repair of landing gear systems, including wheels, brakes, struts, and related hydraulic components. The idóneo candidate will have strong mechanical skills, a meticulous approach to diagnostics, and a thorough understanding of aviation regulations pertaining to landing gear systems. You will be an essential part of ensuring the safety and operational readiness of aircraft landing gear, contributing directly to flight safety from our facility in Naucalpan .

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on aircraft landing gear systems, including visual checks, functional tests, and lubrication.
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble landing gear components such as struts, actuators, uplocks, and gear doors.
- Service and replace wheels, tires, and brakes according to manufacturer specifications and maintenance procedures.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose hydraulic system issues related to the landing gear, identifying leaks or malfunctions.
- Perform minor repairs and component replacements on the landing gear structure and associated systems.
- Interpret and adhere to detailed technical manuals, service bulletins, and repair instructions.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all maintenance activities performed, parts used, and test results.
- Ensure all work complies with aviation safety standards, regulations, and company policies.




- Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all workshop safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with new landing gear technologies and maintenance techniques.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified aircraft maintenance technician program is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in aircraft landing gear maintenance.
- Proven experience working with hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use specialized tools and equipment for landing gear servicing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and service bulletins.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety practices related to aircraft structures and landing gear.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, sometimes under pressure.
- Physical capability to perform the demanding tasks of the role, including working in confined spaces and lifting heavy components.
- Good communication skills in Spanish.
