Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers responsible for the development and maintenance of online learning platforms.
- Define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap for the e-learning ecosystem.
- Architect robust, scalable, and secure solutions for web-based educational applications.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with product management, UX/UI design, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve platform performance, functionality, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Manage technical debt and ensure the long-term maintainability of the codebase.

- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years in a technical leadership or architecture role.
- Extensive experience in designing and building scalable web applications using modern technologies (e.g., Python/Django, Node.js/Express, Java/Spring).
- Strong proficiency in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and state management.
- Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and educational technology standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, mentor teams, and drive technical decisions in a remote setting.
