About the Role

Our client is looking for a visionary Arquitecto/a de Sostenibilidad y Diseño Ecológico to lead the integration of environmentally conscious practices into all architectural projects. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while making a significant impact on sustainable development. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing innovative strategies that minimize environmental impact and promote energy efficiency in building designs. You will collaborate with design teams, clients, and consultants to champion green building certifications and sustainable material selection. This role is critical for advancing our client's commitment to environmental stewardship and shaping a more sustainable built environment. Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development and implementation of sustainable design strategies for all projects.
- Conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs) and environmental impact analyses.
- Research and recommend sustainable materials, technologies, and building systems.
- Guide project teams through green building certification processes (e.g., LEED, EDGE).
- Develop energy modeling and analysis to optimize building performance.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define sustainability goals and metrics.




- Educate and advise design teams on best practices in ecological architecture.
- Stay current with emerging trends and innovations in sustainable design.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sustainable architectural design and consulting.
- In-depth knowledge of green building principles, certifications (LEED AP preferred), and energy modeling software.
- Proven ability to integrate sustainability into architectural projects from concept to completion.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders.
- Demonstrated passion for environmental sustainability and ecological design.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools suitable for remote work.
