About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement individualized dosing regimens for medications requiring pharmacokinetic monitoring.
- Perform therapeutic drug monitoring and adjust dosages based on patient-specific factors and pharmacokinetic principles.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.
- Educate healthcare staff and patients on pharmacokinetics, drug dosing, and potential drug interactions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and clinical meetings to provide pharmaceutical expertise.
- Stay current with the latest research and guidelines in pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacy practice.




- Develop and deliver presentations or in-services on relevant pharmacokinetic topics.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives related to medication management.

Requirements

- Licensed Pharmacist in Mexico with active registration.
- Master's degree or equivalent advanced training in Clinical Pharmacy with a focus on Pharmacokinetics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a hospital pharmacist, with significant exposure to pharmacokinetic dosing.
- Proficiency in using pharmacokinetic software and tools.
- Strong understanding of drug metabolism, distribution, and elimination processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems and electronic health records.
