About the Role

Our client, a leading industrial manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Projects Manager for Automation and Operational Efficiency to join their team in Puebla, Puebla . This role is critical for driving continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation, and optimizing operational processes across the organization. Key Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate opportunities for process automation and operational efficiency improvements.
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of automation and efficiency projects.
- Develop project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external vendors.
- Implement and oversee the integration of automation technologies (e.g., robotics, software automation).
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
- Develop and implement performance metrics to track the impact of improvement initiatives.
- Ensure projects adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards.




- Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations management, industrial engineering, or project management, with a strong focus on automation and process improvement.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing automation solutions and driving significant operational efficiency gains.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial automation technologies, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and relevant automation software.
- Familiarity with the automotive or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
- Must have legal authorization to work in Mexico.
