About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the aviation sector, is actively recruiting for a detail-oriented Ingeniero de Control de Calidad Aeronáutica to join their facility in Morelia, Michoacán . This crucial role involves overseeing and implementing quality assurance processes throughout the aircraft manufacturing and maintenance lifecycle. The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in aerospace quality management systems, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control plans and procedures for aircraft manufacturing and maintenance activities.
- Conduct rigorous inspections of aircraft components, materials, and assemblies at various stages of production and repair.
- Verify compliance with technical specifications, engineering drawings, and relevant aviation standards (e.g., AS9100).
- Identify and document non-conformities, defects, and quality issues, and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and certificates of conformity.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement improvements.
- Perform audits of internal processes and external suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards.




- Monitor key quality metrics and provide regular reports to management on quality performance.
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable national and international aviation regulations.
- Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Train and mentor other team members on quality standards and procedures.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the aviation or aerospace industry.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, particularly AS9100 standards.
- Proven experience with inspection techniques, non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in quality control software and tools.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations and certification processes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience conducting internal and external audits is highly desirable.
