About the Role

Our client, a leader in innovative AI solutions, is seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join their remote-first R&D; team. This position is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to work from any location in Mexico, with a conceptual base near Tijuana, Baja California . You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models that power adaptive learning systems, enhancing user experiences and optimizing performance. This role involves working with large datasets, building robust ML pipelines, and collaborating with a dynamic team of researchers and engineers to solve complex challenges. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models for adaptive systems. Build, train, and evaluate ML models using large datasets. Design and maintain scalable ML pipelines for data processing, feature engineering, and model deployment. Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to integrate ML models into production systems. Conduct research on new ML techniques and algorithms to improve system performance. Monitor and optimize the performance of deployed ML models. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python or other relevant languages. Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.



Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ML model performance and data integrity.

Requirements

Master's or Ph.
D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models. Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. Solid understanding of various ML algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning). Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, crucial for remote teamwork. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines in a remote setting. Experience with adaptive systems or personalized learning is highly desirable.
