About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various laboratory techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR).
- Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods as per regulatory guidelines.
- Investigate and resolve Out-of-Specification (OOS) results, deviations, and non-conformances.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Prepare and review analytical reports, batch records, and validation documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Participate in internal and external audits as a subject matter expert.




- Mentor and train junior laboratory personnel.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Control department.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and regulatory changes affecting pharmaceutical quality control.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Pharmaceutical Quality Control or Assurance.
- Extensive hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., COFEPRIS, FDA).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot analytical methods and equipment.
- Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in Spanish and a good command of English.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment in Puebla, Puebla.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
