Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure AI software systems for research purposes.
- Define technology standards, best practices, and development methodologies for AI platform development.
- Lead the technical design and implementation of microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, and engineers to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for AI platform development.
- Oversee the integration of various AI components, libraries, and services.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and maintainability of the developed platforms.
- Mentor engineering teams on architectural best practices and AI development standards.
- Contribute to the strategic roadmap for the AI research infrastructure.




- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide architectural guidance.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software architecture and development, with a significant focus on AI/ML systems.
- Proven experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems, preferably in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and MLOps practices.
- Expertise in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, essential for a remote role.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive projects to completion in a remote setting.
- Experience in the R&D; sector is a strong plus.
