Key Responsibilities

- Develop and refine Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies tailored to specific crops and regional pest pressures.

- Provide expert remote consultation to farmers and agronomists on the identification, monitoring, and control of agricultural pests and diseases.

Requirements

- Master's or PhD degree in Entomology, Plant Pathology, Agronomy, or a related agricultural science field with a specialization in pest management.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing IPM programs in agricultural settings.
- Strong understanding of pest life cycles, behavior, and population dynamics.
- Knowledge of biological control methods, cultural practices, and the judicious use of pesticides.
- Experience with pest monitoring techniques and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex scientific concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in Spanish; English proficiency is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with agricultural software and remote collaboration tools.
