While based virtually from Culiacán, Sinaloa , this role requires no physical presence in an office. You will be responsible for conducting advanced structural and thermal simulations to predict and improve the performance and durability of mechanical components and systems. Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex FEA simulations, including static, dynamic, thermal, and modal analyses.
- Develop and validate finite element models for various mechanical components and assemblies.
- Interpret simulation results, identify potential failure modes, and provide actionable design recommendations.
- Collaborate remotely with design engineers and project managers to integrate simulation insights into the product development process.
- Develop and maintain standardized FEA procedures and best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in FEA software and simulation techniques.
- Prepare detailed technical reports documenting simulation methodologies,
results, and conclusions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of simulation capabilities and processes within the organization.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a specialization in FEA.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in performing FEA for mechanical systems.
- Expert proficiency in FEA software packages such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar.
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics, material science, and failure theories.
- Experience with pre-processing (meshing) and post-processing of simulation results.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
